Oily fish are pelagic fish which swim close to the surface of the sea in live in shoals that can be quite enormous. Not only are they rich in vitamins A,B and D but there is strong evidence to suggest that the Omega 3 fatty acids found in their flesh may significantly reduce the likelihood of coronary heart disease, high blood pressure and varicose veins, as well as helping blood circulation and fighting depression.
